Following their acquisition, our global pharmaceutical client asked us to design and deliver a change, deployment and training strategy. This would help teams migrate to the reporting processes and health and safety systems within the parent global organisation.

We began by creating a change communications toolkit in a ‘pick n mix’ format. This empowered teams to co-create change alongside their people. We designed a two-way communication strategy and project lexicon to create ‘listening’ opportunities and build trust throughout the change journey.
To champion and lead change in their area, we recruited a network of global HSE experts. We also segmented training pathways and the comms strategy to make sure we were serving every audience as well as possible.
A dedicated business SharePoint page kept all resources and information easily accessible. This helped to reduce the environmental footprint while our comms playbook set the organisation up for success for any future integrations.
The new Health, Safety and Environment system was successfully rolled out across 88 sites and associated groups and to over 7,900 people in 33 countries.
Over 500 Line Managers and 1,725 employees attended pre- and post-launch briefings, and 92% of participants completed their training within the target of 30 days.
The investment in time and effort on the comms material was noticeable. We were able to give a sense of confidence to stakeholders in terms of the success of the project rollout.
